This Man Marketed Son For N150,000 In Uyo, See Why

Abraham Moses Udoh allegedly sold his 2-year-old boy, Elisha Abraham for N150,000 to a woman residing in Uyo in Akwa Ibom.

The Cross River State Commissioner of Police, Hafiz Inuwa, said the suspect said his inability to cater for the family of 10 forced him to sell Elisha.

Inuwa said, “On , a case of child trafficking was reported by one Mrs Esther Abraham against her husband – Abraham Moses Udoh, who stole away her 2-year-old-boy, Elisha without her consent.

“Upon investigation of a case of child trafficking by Esther, Moses wife, Abraham Moses Udoh revealed that Moses sold his child to a woman residing in Uyo in Akwa Ibom state at the sum of N150, 000. But the sum of N103, 000 was recovered from him and registered as exhibit”.

“Investigation is in progress to arrest the alleged buyer and recover the child,” the Commissioner stated.

On the whereabouts of the child, Udoh told newsmen that he does not  know where the buyers have taken the child to and that he regretted his action. The suspect hails from Ikot Ekpene in Akwa Ibom State.
