Cats Inherit a Whooping Sum of $300,000 from their deceased Owner in New York

These cats have become the Bill Gates of the cat family as a whooping sum of $300,000 was willed to them by their deceased affluent owner in New York.

At the time of her death at 88, Ellen Frey-Wouter had no children to inherit her 300 million dollar estate.

Ellen willed $300,000 of her estate to a trust fund for her cats.

Veterinary care, grooming and all other expenses are covered by the trust fund through Frey-Wouter's former health care aides.

In 2003, Leon Sheppard Sr. Instead of his 5 children, 12 grandchildren and great-grandchildren willed his $250,000 fortune and his 4,270 square foot home in a gated community to his cats, Frisco and Jake.

What a decision.
