A self-acclaimed gospel performer has been captured by the police for armed robbery, and as per the 28-year old suspect, he started to burglarize so he could fund the creation of his maiden album.

As per the suspect, Nurudeen Ogundairo, the proposed album was booked for release on July 24th.

"Am a gospel performer. I required cash to empower me create my maiden collection and I got myself into burglary to raise cash for the venture. Truth be told, I had picked a date 24th of July to release the collection to people in general after the production," he said.

The suspect, who was captured alongside two of his band young men, Tunde Joseph and Ganiu Ajibode, who professedly additionally shared in the burglary operations, said he had learnt his lesson in the wake of spending more than two months in detainment.

"I trust I can in any case be forgiven by the police and God over my activity. It was in my bid to make progress in my melodic vocation that I took to armed robbery," he expressed.
